How does Vaundry work ?
Vaundry takes the thinking out of clean ready-to-wear clothing for you!
All you have to do is place an order by phone, text, or online through our seamless web application, select the type of service you wish to receive (wash & fold and/or dry cleaning) and select a day that is suitable to your schedule for us to come by and collect it. We will show up at your doorstep between 7 and 10 pm that evening with a personalized Vaundry bag for use on all future orders. We will then treat your clothes to a superior clean with our stellar cleaning teams, who have over 30 years of experience right here in the city.
And voila!… We will deliver your clean clothes right back to your doorstep between 7 and 10pm on an evening that works for you. Why have it any other way?
Do you have an iPhone or Android app?
Can I return used dry cleaning hangers?
Absolutely, we would be happy to recycle hangers from previous orders that you no longer need. Simply hand them over to your valet on your next order.
What if I miss my scheduled pick up/delivery window?
At Vaundry, we understand your busy schedule and that you can’t guarantee being home when you planned. We’re here to be convenient to your routine! However, we require you to adjust your scheduled day by 4 pm the day you have us set to come so we can plan our routes for that evening accordingly. Feel free to call us, text us or reply back to the email we send you with the confirmation of pick up and/or delivery. We will be happy to coordinate a new time that suits your agenda for a future visit. If we do arrive and you’re not home we will happily forgive you the first time because we all make mistakes but we will have to charge a redelivery fee for all future attempts as we still have to send our drivers out each time.
Is your dry cleaning eco friendly?
Absolutely! Our facilities have decades of experience and use special solvents for cleaning, which are the most green-friendly options for dry cleaning. This means your dry cleaning will come back free of perc, a chemically reactive and toxic product frequently used by other dry cleaners. This technique is also gentler on your clothing.
What about pesky stains? Can you remove those?
At Vaundry, we do our absolute best to remove stains, but some are unfortunately permanent. Once stains have become part of the fabric, continued attempts to remove them will cause dye loss or fabric damage known as chafing or fraying.
If you have a specific stain you’d like us to pay special attention to we ask you to please notify us when placing your order. At Vaundry, we have built a process to ensure the highest quality cleaning each step of the way.
If you receive an item where a stain remains, please let us know (email, phone, informing our Valet). We will re-clean your item for free. However, if we believe your garment is at risk of damage, we will let you know.

What if I put dry cleaning in a wash & fold order?
No sweat! Any dry cleaning items including men’s laundered shirts that are best taken care of in our dry cleaning facilities will be sorted and sent across for the proper care (charged by item). You will be informed if this happens to ensure you are aware. Men’s laundered shirts and other dry cleaning items cannot be processed in wash and fold orders (weighed by pound).
What are your timings?
We are at your service via text, email and our toll free number from 9 am to 9 pm Sunday to Friday. We know you’re busy so we pick up and deliver your clothes from your home between 7 pm – 10 pm Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday. No need to rush home from work to get to the cleaners ever again! If you have a service request outside of these hours, email us at email@example.com and we will do our absolute best to accommodate you!
Is there a pick up & delivery fee?
We offer FREE pick ups! There is a $5 standard delivery fee on all orders to pay the nice people who carry heavy heaps of clothes to your doors. This includes the care it takes our team to process your order, carefully carry it to our vehicles and deliver it back to you with a smile. Unlike other delivery based cleaners, we have no minimum dollar amounts on your orders so that you can enjoy your new found freedom from laundry! Plus, we don’t ask you to TIP!
How much do Vaundry services cost ?
Our goal is to provide you with amazing customer service that is more convenient than anything you’ve experienced, whilst also offering you the lowest prices out there.

Which locations do you service?
Currently, we serve the Downtown Toronto area. Not in our service area? No worries, send us an email at email@example.com so we can make sure we include you as we quickly expand!
How do I pay ?
We offer secure credit card payments through Braintree by Paypal, which is one of the largest online payment processors. All credit card information is stored on their encrypted servers, which are compliant with strict security regulations. Payment will be charged to your card on file the day of your scheduled delivery so you can just focus on clean clothes arriving at your doorstep!
Do I need to separate my clothes?
Yes, but don’t worry because it is super simple! In order to facilitate the correct type of cleaning all wash & fold orders must be separated from dry cleaning/men’s laundered shirts’ orders. We will provide you with your very own Vaundry bags on your first order in order to make it easy for you for all future orders.
We are unable to accept your personal laundry bags or hampers and are not responsible for any loose items such as watches, jewelry, or money lost in the cleaning process.
Is there a minimum order?
No! We do not have any order minimums to have Vaundry come to you. However, due to the nature of wash and fold orders, there is a 15 lbs. minimum in order to utilize a regular machine cycle filled with only your clothes. That’s an average load of laundry anyway! If this minimum is not reached, Vaundry will apply a charge for the minimum order amount.
What’s the turnaround time ?
Most orders turnaround within 48 hours on weekdays. Orders that fall over a weekend require extra time given our cleaning teams work reduced hours. For certain items (e.g. evening gowns, fur coats) that require more professional cleaning time, we will let you know when we plan to deliver them back at the time of pick-up.
Do I have to be home when you come by?
No. However, we only ask that you’re at home when we pick up your first order to ensure we get to know you and have your clothes safe with us in a Vaundry bag. On future orders, if you prefer we leave it at your door we’d be happy to do that as long as you can buzz us in remotely! If you have a concierge and want to use them to facilitate this service, please ensure they can take your clothes due to storage constraints at many buildings.
Do I get Vaundry laundry bags for my clothes?
Absolutely! On your first order our valet will be happy to provide you with your very own laundry bag free of charge for you to fill with clothes with and thereafter reuse on every Vaundry order. We believe in being green!
What are your terms and conditions for using the service?
By placing your items with Vaundry, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Minimum Order Size
There is no minimum order size for dry cleaning. If a wash & fold order minimum level of 15 pounds is not reached, Vaundry will apply a charge for the minimum order amount. There is a flat fee of $5.00 applied for delivery on all orders.
Taking care of your garments is our number one priority. We strive to provide exceptional service. While we are very cautious to treat all garments carefully, we cannot assume responsibility for inherent weaknesses or defects in materials which may result in tears or development of small holes in fabric that are not readily apparent prior to processing. We cannot guarantee against colour loss, colour bleeding, and shrinkage; or against damage to weak and tender fabrics; or against damage to ancillary items such as belts, buttons, beads, ties or zipper pulls. Vaundry liability with respect to any damaged items shall not exceed five (5) times our charge for cleaning that garment regardless of brand or condition. Any damaged items must be reported and returned to Vaundry for inspection within 5 business days.
Any lost item must be reported within 7 days of the delivery of the garments. All claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Items are considered lost twenty (20) days after the initial claim has been made. Any reimbursement for a dry-cleaned item deemed lost by Vaundry, in accordance with the International Fabricare Fair Claims Guide, shall be limited to ten (10) times the charge for treating the garment. Any wash and fold items deemed lost shall be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, but in any case reimbursement for lost wash and fold items shall not exceed five (5) times the price of the weight of the wash and fold load.
Vaundry shall not take responsibility for any loose items lost when submitted in a Vaundry bag, such as watches, jewelry, or cufflinks. We request that customers remove these items and empty pockets prior to leaving items with us as we cannot be held responsible for damage to your garments from items left in pockets.
Vaundry reserves the right to keep records of your garments and retain, store, display or reproduce such records which may include images or photographs, and associate such records with your name or other profile information for commercially reasonable periods for archival, inventory purposes, quality control, loss prevention, and or data collection.
Service days and turnaround time vary by location. Vaundry will make its best reasonable effort to return clothes within 48 to 72 hours of drop-off; however, we do not guarantee turnaround times and assume no responsibility for any damages that may occur due to a delay in service.
In any discrepancy between printed and online pricing, the online posted pricing will be applied.
Discounts, Special Pricing & Coupons
Discounts, special pricing and coupons are not combinable. Only one will be applied per order unless specifically stated in writing by Vaundry. If two are available and not combinable, the greater percentage discount listed of the two will be applied to the order.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form subscribe to the newsletter and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information.
Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously
We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service provider’s utilized and other similar information.

Vaundry collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes:
To process transactions: We may use the information Users provide about them when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
To send periodic emails : The email address Users provide for order processing, will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
